We apologize for the challenges you are experiencing with E-Labs right now. AWARDS harnesses Change Healthcare as the 3rd party vendor for providing E-Labs functionality, and they are currently dealing with an outside threat that necessitated disconnecting their systems in order to protect partners and patients.
While Change Healthcare works to resolve the issue and bring the service back online, you can take the following steps to ensure you and your teams can continue with your lab orders work:
- Generating Lab Orders - You can log into your partner lab’s portal to submit orders directly (where available).
- Entering Diagnostic Test Results in AWARDS - Once lab results are available, you can enter them manually in the Diagnostic Test Records module in AWARDS by following the steps outlined in the Working with Diagnostic Test Records Resource Center page.
- Uploading Supporting Documentation - If the results include related images or documentation that should be included with the results, you can attach them to the record by following the steps outlined in the Diagnostic Test Fields / Options Resource Center page -> “Supporting Documentation.”
We understand that this manual process is not ideal and want to assure you that we are staying actively connected with our Change Healthcare representatives to ensure we are informed of updates. We will continue to advocate for our customers' interim needs and keep you posted as we learn more.
