Hi there,
You’ve heard us talk a lot about the upcoming AWARDS Redesign project. We are thrilled to share that later this summer, we’ll be ready to release some of the first exciting AWARDS Redesign changes! While we expect these changes will be welcome enhancements for you and your teams, we also know that change can be difficult. Let’s talk about what you can expect over the next few months.
First, if you’re not familiar with the AWARDS Redesign project, click here to read all about it.
The first AWARDS Redesign enhancements are focused on improving global navigation. What does this mean? It means we’re working to provide more intuitive navigation, reduce the number of clicks while navigating the system, and reduce the amount of time you spend getting to core data entry and reporting screens. The basic workflows within the different modules and screens will remain as they are, we are simply improving the path you take to get to those areas of AWARDS.
The first AWARDS Redesign release will include the following changes:
- A Redesigned Login Page - The login screen is getting a facelift! While the new login screen will look more modern, at this time, the user experience will remain the same. (Please Note: We are still working to introduce new Multi-Factor Authentication requirements for the login page, but this will not be part of the initial Redesign release. Please refer to the March 2023 announcement in the Resource Center.)
- A New Home Page After Login - When you log into AWARDS, you will see a new Home page that will display FootholdConnect announcements and events. This will replace the current AWARDS Home Page menu. The Home Page menu will be transformed into a new global navigation sidebar menu (see #3 below). Future enhancements to this page will involve the ability to have meaningful widgets/dashboards.
- A New Global Navigation Sidebar Menu - The current AWARDS Home Page navigation menu will move to a fixed sidebar that you will see no matter what screen you are on. This will be how you navigate between modules in AWARDS. Click here to read more about the specific changes you can expect.
Following on the heels of this first round of improvements, we will be introducing a new Client Info Header and Client-Centric Navigation tool, which will further improve how users navigate through AWARDS while working with a specific client and their records. Click here to read more about that.
