You asked, and we are delivering! This email provides you with everything you need to prepare yourself and your teams for the upcoming AWARDS Redesign changes.

What’s New in AWARDS with Redesign Release 1

This first Redesign release, which we anticipate deploying the week of September 10th, includes three exciting components:

1. A New Look for the Login Page - The AWARDS Login screen is getting an upgrade to look more modern! Nothing about the user experience will change. Check out this quick Login Page Training Video to learn more.
   
   
2. A New AWARDS Home Page - The existing AWARDS Home Page will be replaced with the global navigation menu (detailed below), and the new Home Page will bring Foothold and Agency Announcements information front and center for users. Additionally, the Agency Announcements feature is getting an upgrade. Check out these helpful resources:

3. A New Fixed Global Navigation Menu - In an effort to minimize the number of “clicks” and streamline how users move through AWARDS, the current menu of Home Page buttons will be replaced with a fixed sidebar that follows you as you move through AWARDS. When in a client record, this expandable and collapsible sidebar remains available, allowing users to easily move to another area of the same client’s record. See these helpful resources:

Future releases will include more enhancements aimed at client-centric navigation and minimizing “clicks.”

Sandbox Information

We had previously noted that we would aim to provide users with access to a generic sandbox site this week. The goal of a sandbox site is to give users an opportunity to get a feel for the new navigation and changes ahead of the deployment. To ensure this experience is truly successful and meaningful for users, we have decided we need a little more time and will be providing access to the sandbox the week of August 28th. In the meantime, please be sure to sign up for access to the sandbox by completing the AWARDS Redesign Sandbox Access Request Form. Note that the video links and related Resource Center pages provided above are excellent training tools and will allow you and your staff to better understand and prepare for the upcoming changes ahead of sandbox access.
