We are excited to confirm that the AWARDS Redesign Release 1 will be deployed next week! Our team will be hard at work late Tuesday night so that all AWARDS users see the new functionality first thing in the morning on Wednesday, September 13th!
A few reminders to help you prepare:
AWARDS Redesign Sandbox
- Access - Any users who want to see the new features ahead of deployment can access the AWARDS Redesign Sandbox to prepare for the changes. Teams should feel free to use this site to help with training staff members.
- To gain access to the Sandbox, submit this form to request access: AWARDS Redesign Sandbox Signup Form. Note: The Sandbox will be disabled on the evening of September 12th, ahead of the live release.
- Testing - When you access the Sandbox for testing, please try out the new functionality, but also don't hesitate to perform some of your standard workflows as best as you can. We want to make sure that both the new functionality and the existing functionality are as bug-free as possible.
- Remember, should you encounter any bugs or issues, please use the feedback form embedded within the Sandbox version of AWARDS to report them.

Downtime
As with all significant releases, this release will require a brief downtime on the evening of September 12th, beginning at 9 PM ET. The downtime should last no longer than 3 hours. Please refer to our Deployment Downtime FAQs if you'd like to understand why or when system downtime is necessary for deployments.
